Welcome to Bar 19.  Bar 19 is a cafe bar & restaurant located in the premises of the old London Inn which in turn used to be The Royal Oak.  Award-winning Bar 19 is an established & independent family business committed to providing the best, most orignal and innovative eating and drinking experience in Keynsham.

Open for coffee from 10am (noon on Sundays) the bar is a relaxing and comfortable environment.   We are a busy lunch venue for shoppers, visitors and businesspeople alike - our lunch menu includes a range of paninis & sandwiches on organic bread, omelettes and baked potatoes and light meals.  We have a courtyard garden open in good weather.

We welcome families with babies and children at all times, including evenings when dining.  Bar 19 is proud to be completely smoke-free throughout.  Our evening menu offers a selection of excellent dishes based around seasonal and local ingredients.We're committed to running an ethical business.  We purchase carefully and ethically, we use small local companies where possible, and choose organic or otherwise ethically produced or traded goods.  We'd like you as a customer to be able to be confident in the choices that we've made when you make your choice by coming to us.  We're all well informed on our practices and products so if you want to know more - please ask!  We recycle whatever we can and this amounts to about 65% of the waste we produce as a business.  We use GOOD ENERGY (a green-electricity company) to supply our electric and we use a variety of means to reduce our consumption of all resources.

We love to use organic and local produce from small independent producers and growers, from a few home-grown courgettes or home-made jam to fresh fish or game please let us know if you can supply us in return for our hospitality.
